About the author:
Greg
Zadel, has served on various public and organizational
Boards of Directors since age 17 as a Director on a Public
and School Library Board. His service includes 10 years
on the Carbon Valley Park & Recreation District as a
Board member, Treasurer and President, the North Metro Denver
Realtor Association as Director, Treasurer and President,
and the Colorado Association of Realtors as a Director,
Treasurer and member of the Executive Committee. Greg served
as Chairman of the Board of Metrolist Inc., a regional Multiple
Listing company for 7 years.
Greg graduated from the University of Denver in 1981 with
a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, majoring
in Real Estate and Construction Management. He has earned
several professional designations including the Graduate
of the Realtor Institute (GRI), Certified Residential Specialist
(CRS), and Certified Real Estate Broker (CRB). Other community
activities include community bank boards, church committees,
and chambers of commerce. He and his wife of 24 years, Berniece,
have two daughters and reside in Firestone, Colorado.
As Broker of Zadel Realty since 1980, Greg has enjoyed
working with an endless variety of people to help satisfy
their real estate needs and gives back to his industry and
community through various volunteer efforts. All this interaction
and experience has given him the background and insight
to put together this "Guide to Serving as a Director
on a Board".
